Conference: Prof. Suraiya Faroqhi, Half of the Ottoman Subjects: Women Trying to Protect Themselves and Their Children

Distinguished Ottoman historian and faculty member at Ibn Haldun University, Prof. Dr. Suraiya Faroqhi, recognized as one of the world's leading scholars, will be the guest of our Center and the Department of History in the Faculty of Arts and Sciences. She will deliver a conference titled "Half of the Ottoman Subjects: Women Striving to Protect Themselves and Their Children" on Friday, November 17, 2023, at 14:00 in the Sevim Buluç Auditorium at the Troia Cultural Center.

The conference is open to all academics, students, and the public.
